The new DEN-ON RD500 Series III Rework Stations are fast and intuitive. The Series III have uncompromising thermal performance with the lowest delta-T available due to a unique 3-heater system.  Advanced Autoprofilng software enables the fastest rework profiling development time in the the industry for removal & placement of parts within minutes. Parts placement is accurate and repeatable due to the independent pickup tube / top nozzle design and advanced imaging (with digital spilt imaging). The Series III are cable of reworking the most demanding lead free boards and effective on parts as small as 1mm to as large as 60 mm.

NEW Mini V, Desktop X-Ray Inspection System
Economical, Compact, Multi-Purpose X-Ray Inspection Solution

The Mini V is a 2D (transmissive) x-ray imaging system that incorporates a 75kV x-ray source and high-resolution 2/4” detector with direct-coupled digital camera. Board handling is up to 14”D x 18”W).

The Mini V comes standard with a PC-based VIP™ Image Processor or optional VIPplus or VIPx for advanced measurement capabilities. The VIP image processors provide tools for image enhancement, measurement, analysis, data collection and reporting. The VIP series makes use of configuration wizards to assist the operator in defining pass/fail inspection criteria, making the Mini V exceptionally easy-to-learn and use.

FA-Inspector (AOI/Comparator)
First Article Inspection Solution

The FA-Inspector is a scanner-based optical inspection system used to automate First Article and production quality inspection tasks. The FA-Inspector uses template matching instead of algorithm-based analysis; this method dramatically speeds up test development and does not require programming.

New Features:

• Layout Viewer: The Layout Viewer provides a simple visual interface to view, validate and adjust pick-&-place XY data. The Layout Viewer also provides the ability to scan and link an Assembly Drawing with a PCB during test setup; to present Part Reference IDs in the event that these are not screened onto the PCB.
  
  
• CXF Viewer: The CXF Editor provides comparison and validation of CAD (XY data) against the Bill of Materials (BOM) and generates fully validated CXF files (top and bottom). This is accomplished to confirm that both files contain the same key device data; and to insure that the assembly is built in accordance with the BOM.
